A Morpho Van is the best budget option for travelers in Panama. The insurance and protection plan gives you the freedom to travel without thinking too much about what could happen. IMPORTANT: All Drivers must be over 25 and less than 75 years old. If you are younger or older, please message us for an individual offer.
What is included in the Car Protection Plan and what is insured? The campers are covered by an insurance policy, the car insurance. This is always included as mandatory insurance and is limited to a maximum claim amount of $2000. This, of course, only applies if no willful damage has occurred. In the event of negligence, the maximum claim amount for the replacement of any of our cars is $25,000.
The Car Protection Plan does not cover the installations and special equipment such as solar panels, battery, refrigerator, mobile shower, etc. When the vehicle is handed over, the customer confirms that all the materials handed over and the car itself are in good condition and working order. This is to be checked by the customer before taking over the car. Upon return, we will inspect our equipment and the vehicle for damage. If any defects or improper use are detected, we reserve the right to assess a damage fee of up to $2000.
INSURANCE AND PROTECTION PLAN
- Collision Damage Waiver + Third-Party Insurance
- Liability (non-negligent or excluded cases): US$2000
- Keys lost, fire and lightning, glass, tires and vandalism protection with limitations*
We include a Collision Damage Waiver (CDW). The CDW covers the chassis of the vehicle and the liability excess is US$2000 e.g., in case of collision with another driving vehicle or theft of the vehicle. It is not valid for fixed objects or standing cars. Third-Party Liability and Personal Accident Insurance is automatically included in your rental and liability excess is US$20,000.00. Personal injuries US$10,000.000 per person until US$20,000.00 maximum per event. Third party damages US$20,000.00 maximum. Medical costs US$2,000.00 maximum per person until US$10,000.00 maximum per event. The Protection Plan does include a Vandalism & Glass protection.
